Cher Horowitz, the beautiful and popular teen with a penchant for sticking her nose in other people’s business, is still a cultural icon over 25 years later, and Silverstone knows it. The actor’s Clueless anniversary post on social media celebrates Cher and her best moments.   Silverstone shared a montage of scenes from the movie on her TikTok and other social media platforms.  The short video includes moments like when Cher’s dad questions her clothing choices, when she daydreams about a boy in class, and of course, when she says her classic catchphrase, “As if!” The video is set to the song “Big Energy” by Latto, and the caption reads, “27 years ago, a bad b*tch was born 😉💁🏼‍♀️ Happy anniversary, Cher!” Written and directed by Amy Heckerling, Clueless is a loose modern adaptation of the Jane Austen novel Emma, focusing on a privileged high school student living in Beverly Hills, California.  Along with Silverstone, the movie stars Paul Rudd, Stacey Dash, Donald Faison, Dan Hedaya, and the late Brittany Murphy, among others.  Clueless is a pop culture landmark and many still reference it today, while the film’s fashion—we all know Cher’s classic plaid school outfit—made a particularly lasting impact.  VOGUE even recounted how each Clueless character’s wardrobe is still represented in today’s fashion. A Clueless television reboot was in development at Peacock in 2020, but early last year, The Hollywood Reporter wrote that the NBCUniversal streaming platform decided to pass on the project.  CBS Studios, which owns Clueless, was reportedly planning to redevelop the show and try again.  Next, Clueless Cast: Then and Now Photos
