Featured this week will be a choir made up of NFL vets, a ventriloquist, singing impressionist brothers, a sensational teen singer from Poland, and a danger act which puts Simon’s life on the line. One of the 10 will get awarded the Golden Buzzer, which will take them directly to the Live Shows. Last week, Howie picked 11-year-old Madison Taylor Baez from Yorba Linda, Calif., who impressed the judges with her rendition of “Amazing Grace,” which was sneakily introduced during a break in the show. “People always ask what happens in the commercial breaks and amazing things happen in the commercial breaks,” Howie said. The previous week’s Golden Buzzer was 21-year-old Avery Dixon from Atlanta, who performed “Try a Little Tenderness” by Otis Redding on the saxophone, and moved host Terry Crews into awarding him his Golden Buzzer. Terry said, “There’s no need to vote. Avery, you touched the heart of every human being in this building right now. I want to tell you, you’ve been bullied all your life, but you tell every bully that you have a big brother named Terry Crews, who has your back, and all those bullies are going to have to watch you succeed.” Which judge and which act will be awarded the Golden Buzzer tonight?
