First, host Terry Crews reviewed the 12 acts who performed: T.3, Dokteuk Crew, Shuffolution, Positive Impact Movement, Korean Soul, Victory Brinker, Aidan Bryant, Johnny Showcase, Tory Vagtasy, Northwell Health Nurse Choir, Peter Antoniou; and Josh Blue. He explained that the top 5 acts were automatically put through by America’s vote, and then acts six, seven, and eight would take part in an Instant save: They were Korean Soul, T.3, and Tory Vagasy.

Who made it through to the Semifinals on America’s Got Talent
Aidan Bryant, Josh Blue, Northwell Health Nurse Choir, Korean Soul, Peter Antoniou, Tory Vagtasy, Victory Brinker While the vote was taking place, Terry called the first performers to the stage: Shuffolution and Northwell Health Nurse Choir. The first act that made it through to the semifinals was Northwell Health Nurse Choir and Shuffolution’s AGT journey was done. Then it was time for some entertainment. The Clairvoyants, a mentalist act who were the runner ups from season 11, returned to the AGT stage to fascinate with their mind-reading skills. Then the roll call continued for eliminations with Victory Brinker and Aidan Bryant called to the stage. This was a trick because they were both going through! Next, Peter Antoniou and Positive Impact Movement got their results: Peter Antoniou got the vote! The fifth person of the night to make it through from America’s vote was between Dokteuk Crew, Josh Blue and Johnny Showcase. Josh Blue made it into the semifinals. Before the results of the Instant Save were announced, there was a performance by AGT season 14 winner Kodi Lee and H.E.R. Terry then called the three acts voted on in the Instant Save to the stage to announce the act with the most votes: Broadway hopeful Tory Vagtasy got the good news she made it to the semifinals. That left judges Simon Cowell,Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, and Sofia Vergara the task of voting for the final act of the night going through. Heidi voted for T.3, Sofia cast her ballot for T.3 as well, Simon went with Korean Soul, and Howie tied the vote with a decision for Korean Soul. That means the act which got the biggest vote from America would go through, and that was Korean Soul.
