Abby and Mick meet the eccentric billionaire and attempt to convince him not to pull out of a local hotel project. Thomas (Gregory Harrison) returns to the area, in search of a new property while Luke (Stephen Huszar) impresses Mick and lands a new job at The Bridge. After buying what she thinks is a potentially valuable painting for only $8, Megan (Barbara Niven) attempts to track down the notoriously reclusive, local artist to confirm it is one of his works. Kevin (Brendan Penny) becomes concerned about Chief Gahagan (Peter Bryant) when a few memory lapses might be a sign of something more. Over at the law firm, the higher-ups show they value Connor (Andrew Francis) by giving him a bigger role in a high-profile case, but he soon begins to suspect they have an ulterior motive behind his attachment to the case.
