The Grease star, 68, couldn’t help but beam over his 11-year-old son Ben, who appeared to have some impressive parkour skills in a new video. The video, posted to Instagram on Aug. 31, showed Ben honing his athletic skills while climbing, swinging and jumping on various courses at what looked to be an indoor adventure gym. “Ben just achieved level 3 ninja,” Travolta wrote in the caption he shared alongside the clip that was set to the Earth, Wind & Fire’s beloved track, “Fantasy.” “I’m so proud,” the doting father added. The actor’s daughter, Ella, 22, showed some love to the Instagram post, with the celebratory emojis “🎉🎉👏,” while other celebrities also took to the comments section to congratulate Ben on the achievement. “Unreal!!!! So amazing! Go Ben 👏👏👏,” actress Kristin Davis commented on the clip, while Sharon Stone also wrote, “GREAT GOING BEN,” under Wednesday’s post. Travolta recently showed off another video of Ben back in June, which featured him quickly swinging through a series of monkey bars. “Ben at his new best!” he wrote at the time. Travolta shares both Ben and Ella with his late wife, Kelly Preston, who passed away in 2020 following a battle with breast cancer. She was 57. The Hollywood couple—who married in 1991—were also parents to son Jett, who tragically passed away at age 16 after suffering a seizure and hitting his head on a bath tub. Earlier this year, Travolta penned a sweet message to his late son on what would have been his 30th birthday. “My dearest Jetty, I miss you more than words can say,” he wrote on the Instagram post in April. “I think about you everyday. Happy Birthday. Love, your Dad.” In 2021, the Hairspray actor spoke about his experience with grief, telling Esquire Mexico, “Grief is personal and finding your own path is what could lead to healing. It’s different than someone else’s journey.” “The most important thing you can do to help people going through grief is allow them the space to live it and not complicate their journey with your own,” he added at the time.
