The episode will mark Meghan Markle’s debut on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. In a teaser clip, Meghan positively glows in a white blouse by Oscar de la Renta. Doesn’t her hair look super long these days? And bouncy, and thick. Looking relaxed and cheerful, Meghan reminisces about turning up to auditions in the same Warner Bros. parking lot where Ellen is taped. Meghan says, “What was so nice is the security guards here would always say,’ Break a leg! We hope you get it!’,” adding, “So to drive in today is very different.” We get that. Today, Meghan has seven seasons of the hit legal drama Suits under her belt and is married to Prince Harry. They own a home in Montecito, California that they share with Archie (2) and Lili (five months) and are neighbors of Ellen’s. But Meghan speaks of her pre-fame days with fondness, describing to Ellen the beat-up old car she used to drive. “It had a life of its own,” she says. “So I had this very, very old Ford Explorer Sport. And at a certain point, the key stopped working on the driver side, so you couldn’t get yourself in through the door. “So after auditions, I would park at the back of the parking lot. And I would open the trunk and climb in and pull it shut behind me, and crawl over all my seats to get out.” The duchess breaks down in giggles as she acts it out for the audience’s benefit. “That’s how I would come to and fro.” Meghan’s makeup artist Daniel Martin was backstage during the taping, and told People that Ellen succeeded in drawing out the duchess’s “goofy, funny side, which everyone will be able to finally see.” Next up, Find Out What Meghan Markle’s Net Worth Is in 2021 Now That She’s No Longer A Senior Royal
