The “Circles” singer twisted his ankle during his show in Atlanta this past Wednesday, Oct. 19, when he tripped on a pyrotechnic hole in the floor. One audience member uploaded a close-up of the incident on TikTok, where Posty could be seen stumbling about the stage as he finished out the song, security members following along on the floor to ensure he was alright. “The stage and Posty have to stop meeting like this,” the uploader wrote over the video, and they’re not wrong. Earlier in the tour, the singer fell thanks to an open trap door on stage, causing him to have to pause his St. Louis stop. He did return to the stage after a quick break to finish his set but was reportedly wincing throughout the rest of the performance. The singer did get checked out at a local hospital and reported that everything was looking good to continue with the tour, but he was forced to postpone his Boston stop the next week when he woke up with sharp pains in his chest and side and was rushed to the hospital once more. Fans, of course, were impressed with not only his willingness, but his determination to continue in spite of the pain. “I Have soooo much respect for this man! He’s clearly in pain but kept the show going. He’s a king,” one wrote. “How much u wanna bet this legend gon still perform the next night,” said another. “Poor guy, he loves what he does and you know he was feeling upset over this,” someone else commented.
