What is Sweet Pecan Summer about?
Amanda (Ko) works in product development at a large cosmetics company. The company likes to stick with their tried and true flagship products, which leaves her best ideas on the drafting table. When Amanda’s favorite aunt, Carol (Lauren Tom), calls to tell her she’s selling her pecan farm to move closer to the new love in her life, Amanda heads to farm to help her sell it. The farm holds many great memories for Amanda, including many of her family’s traditions and history. Upon arriving, she learns her matchmaking aunt has hired Amanda’s ex-boyfriend, J.P (Brown). to be the real estate broker. Stuck having to work with each other, Amanda and J.P. are at odds on practically every decision on how to sell the pecan farm. But the more time the former flames spend together, the more they reconnect and old feelings reemerge.

Christine Ko (Amanda)
Ko currently stars as Emma in the FX series, Dave. Most recently, she was seen as the female lead in the Netflix original film, Tigertail from director Alan Yang and also starred Tzi Ma. She also starred in the digital series Relationship Status alongside Milo Ventimiglia and Shawn Ashmore.
Wes Brown (J.P.)
Wes Brown is Hallmark fan favorite having starred in Christmas at Graceland, Love’s Resounding Courage, Christmas Cookies and Love Under the Stars. Raised in Louisiana, Brown got his break filming Glory Road. He soon followed that film with roles on We Are Marshall and stints on True Blood, Beach Girls, and Deception.
Lauren Tom (Carol)
Lauren Tom is an Obie Award-winning actress, known for her roles The Joy Luck Club, Friends and Supernatural. Most recently she has had recurring roles on Goliath and The Rookie. Her voice can be heard on such animated shows as Futurama, King of the Hill, Batman, Kim Possible, and Superman.
