If you’ve ever wanted your own secret Batcave, this San Antonio, Texas residence might be your dream home! The four-bedroom, three-bathroom house looks like your normal American family home despite the steep $875,000 price tag. A quick peek inside the home reveals a kitchen, dining room, and two-car garage, which may not sway buyers toward this particular property—that is, until they unearth the natural cavern located right beneath their feet. Per the Youtube video listed by the realtor, the cave was discovered in 2004 and excavated in 2016. “It contains a 40-foot main tunnel leading to two distinct cave rooms,” the video states. Newsweek notes the nearby Natural Bridge Caverns are the largest known commercial caverns in Texas. The cavern—equipped with a staircase for a grand entrance—is completely private to the home owner with an outdoor entrance protected by a security system. Since going viral online with the help of a feature on the Instagram account @ZillowGoneWild, realtors have experienced an influx of interest in the property. “Bruce Wayne liked this post,” one person wrote, likening the cave to Batman’s underground lair. Another pointed out that there were some practical uses for the cave, including as a “boss tornado shelter” and an “awesome wine cellar.” A third noted, “This house is Stalac-TIGHT my guy.” After being listed on July 7, the price was cut by $75,000. Unfortunately, it is no longer up for grabs as a sale is currently pending after an offer was made earlier this month. More Entertainment:
