But what if you just don’t have the time (or effort) to go through cutting into and emptying out the pumpkins before you even get to the fun part? Well, some innovative folks have come up with a new technique for carving pumpkins that will make it so much easier to make cute jack-o’-lanterns for decorating. So what’s the secret? A power washer. If you happen to have one of these handy cleaning tools lying around, it turns out they can seriously cut down on your pumpkin-cutting time, and plenty of people are taking advantage of their power washer for this neat hack. Photographer Kiel James Patrick tried the technique out for himself, successfully carving out a face. One thing people warned about in the comments is the potential for it to do some damage to the back of the pumpkin, with one writing, “But what does the back look like?😂🍁🍂,” while another said, “Looks like he blew out his guts, through the back end. 😳🤣😘🎃.” But hey, you don’t have to show that side to the trick-or-treaters.  Holly Auna on TikTok gave it two tries, and the second was definitely the better of the two. In the first video, Auna had some trouble keeping the pumpkin stabilized as she blasted it with the power washer.  But the second time around, she clearly learned her lesson, as she surrounded the pumpkin with wood to make sure it didn’t move around.  Take two looks great—a worthy display for your front porch.  One person joked in the comments, “my dad going to buy a power washer if he ever sees this 😶.” Many others tried out the hack on TikTok and Instagram and achieved great success, like Nicole A. Iverson, who had a lot of fun joining in on the trend. So, think you’ll try your hand at power washer pumpkin carving this Halloween?  More News:
