In this week’s episode of When Calls the Heart, there’s cause for celebration as there’s a wedding about to happen in “Old Love, New Love, Is This True Love.” Ned (Hrothgar Matthews) and Florence (Loretta Walsh) are about to get married but is someone having cold feet? As the nuptials get closer, the various couples in Hope Valley reflect on their own relationships. A stranger arrives in town, but it looks like someone in Hope Valley knows who he is and what he’s about. Still trying to figure out her life’s purpose, Rosemary (Pascale Hutton) discovers there is more happening around town than everyone realizes and decides to get to the bottom of it. Meanwhile, her friendship with Elizabeth (Erin Krakow) has hit a rough patch—will they be able to smooth things over in time for the wedding? Joseph (Viv Leacock) is excited to tend to his flock as he becomes Hope Valley’s newest pastor. Henrigail fans got a hint of their beloved “ship” last week when Henry (Martin Cummins) mentioned to his son, Christopher (James Drew Dean) about having someone believe in him. When asked, he reveals that someone is Abigail (Lori Loughlin). We get a taste of it again this week which may hint at Henry’s future. In a recent post on Instagram, Cummins mentions this is the last year for Henry. Whether it’s a typo or in fact Cummins is exiting the show remains to be seen in the final episodes of this season. If Cummins is indeed leaving the show, then perhaps Henry will head out east and go after the one person he’s truly loved all this time.
