Will Rosemary (Pascale Hutton) and Elizabeth be able to repair the rift between them and become friends again? Robert (Jaiven Natt) takes over babysitting duties from Laura (Genea Charpentier) as well as mail delivery from an absent Ned (Hrothgar Matthews) who is out of town on a mystery business deal leaving his newlywed wife, Florence (Loretta Walsh), alone to run the mercantile. Meanwhile, Rosemary goes all in as she writes, edits and prints the town’s new newspaper. We’ll see if Carson (Paul Greene) finally decides go to John Hopkins in Baltimore for the fellowship (spinoff, anyone?!) he was offered or if he stays in Hope Valley with Faith (Andrea Brooks). We’ll also see if potential couple Fiona (Kayla Wallace) and Mike (Ben Rosenbaum) become business partners in the oil pipeline idea Mike had or if they become romantic partners—or maybe even both? No announcement has been made on a season 9 pickup but if they finally conclude the love triangle as they promised then Hearties will need at least another season to see the new couple and their adventures together!
